World Mental Health Day

Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay - a topic that is uniquely relevant to every single one of us every single day. I hope you'll take a few minutes to pause and reflect…

What are you feeling right now? (it's okay if the response is messy, google "Feelings Wheel" for some help with naming)

What do you need in this moment - a deeper breath, a short walk, a long hug, clarity on job expectations, an intimate conversation, validation of your experience, a sabbatical?

How full is your "container," or, in other words, how much do you have to offer others who may need support?

Leaders --- how are you acknowledging, de-stigmatizing, and actively supporting the mental health of team members - in addition to yourselves? Pay attention, listen, make your care clear.

Ideally, we'd all take this pause every day. Today, especially, when there is so much heaviness and incredibly hard stuff circling around us, it's critical. The better world that so many of us are radically imagining is only possible if we are collectively well enough to bring it into being.
